Chloe and Mike’s Wedding at The Green, Cornwall.

The sun shone up on the Cornish moors and hence all over Chloe and Mike’s wedding at The Green.

This delightful venue is tucked away behind Bodmin Moor, and as a result showcases the best of rural Cornwall. For instance, there are woods, fields and converted farm buildings for friends and family to stay on site.

Both Bride and Groom got ready for the wedding in separate quarters. Most importantly, Mike and his Best Man went through a ceremonial donning of Kimonos and subsequent outdoor lunge session. Therefore fulfillng a pre-wedding ritual requested by Chloe.

The happy couple utilised ‘the most rustic barn’ for their ceremony, consequently being wed candlelight. They emerged into the glorious sunshine and a rain of pom-pom confetti! The subsequent champagne reception ensued on the lawn overlooking endless fields.

Amongst the activities available for guests to amuse themselves at this point was the noble sport of ‘Welly Wanging’. Bride and Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen and guests alike used various parts of their anatomy to launch old boots across the lawn, much to the enthusiastic appreciation of all assembled.

Dinner was served in the Red Brick barn (which is actually very modern with a polished wood floor and fully-fitted bar) before it was my job to whisk the newly-weds away for photos amidst the beautiful evening light.

Thank you to a superb couple, who thought about every detail of their wedding which made for happy guests and even happier Cornish Wedding photographers!
