Amy and Jamie chose a Tregenna Castle wedding, and why wouldn’t you? Tregenna Castle is the jewel in St Ives‘ crown. Indeed, it’s 72 acres boasts woodland walks and sub-tropical gardens alongisde 99 hotel rooms! Amy and Jamie’s fairytale day took place on the Saturday of the August bank holiday weekend. The summer weather smiled upon our happy couple with some scorching sunshine!

Moonshine

One of the defining things about Amy and Jamie’s Tregenna Castle Wedding, was the full complement of groomsmen. Yep, if you include Dads, brothers, cousins, sons and friends, there were a bunch! Now you wouldn’t think it takes a lot to get a crowd like this motivated to party? Well, it doesn’t. But if you want to hit full revs by the time the ceremony begins, you might need some ‘high-octane’ fuel. This came in the form of some homemade Cider-Brandy Moonshine. Said Moonshine was distributed amongst the Reservoir Dogs-esque troupe, to interesting results.

Upstaging

Let’s face it, at most weddings the bride is queen for the day. Whatever she wants, she gets. All eyes are on her, and she looks stunning. These facts ran true for Amy on this Tregenna Castle Wedding day. Whether she had reckoned with the antics of her new husband or not! Jamie would not have looked out of place as a stand-in for Ben Stiller in the movie Zoolander. Every opportunity he got, Jamie gave the camera some more ‘Blue Steel’. Indeed, his escapades culminated in moments such as purposely falling flat on his back on the shoreline during a beach stroll (Somehow he didn’t get wet!). What started as ‘The sparkler tunnel’ turned into ‘Jamie’s sparkler hat’. The ‘Hat’ was a sand pot that was supposed to be for spent sparklers. Instead, Jamie lit all of the leftover sparklers at once and put them on his head.
